Croatia
Croatia is a video installation consisted of Croatian landscape imagery in combination with photographs of social life in Croatia. The imagery is divided in four groups according to colors that prevail in four Croatian regions. Each region possesses unique scenery, and each is represented by a different color. Beautiful natural scenes from Pannonian Plain region are in yellow, the Adriatic coast is in blue, Dalmatian Zagora in gray, and Gorski Kotar and Lika in green. These images are composed into four looping videos that are seamlessly projected on one screen. Whenever the viewer approaches the video screen, the sensor is activated and sends a message to the video player to display an image of the real social life over the image of nature. The interactive screens will be installed on façades of old buildings in center of Croatian capital, Zagreb, as if they are appearing out of the cracks in the walls.
